Gathering the dataNext we will be looking at a data gathering form we use that reflects physiological bio- feedback on core homeostatic control mechanisms that operate within the body. The single biggest control element that runs those control mechanisms is nutrition. While an individual’s consciousness, emotions, and thoughts are of incredible importance, the fact is, people typically eat - every single day. And food, being of such gross nature, is a whopping big and powerful mediator regarding health. It can therefore be said that any given client that walks in our door with a health problem will have some form of nutritional imbalance, and that imbalance will be reflected in the numbers. One person may present with a set of symptoms that are identical to another, yet the numbers will reflect completely opposing points of view. This is not contradictory, in fact it is quite the opposite and shows succinctly how each and every individual is unique.
Each individual has a unique biological individuality and each individual has compensatory mechanisms within their body that will uniquely compensate for any imbalance present in whatever way it can give their current state of internal bio- chemistry and bio-physics. Through the data gathering process we obtain measures of our client’s chemistry and physiological parameters that will illustrate exactly where their biology stands which will then reflect where their core homeostatic control mechanisms are pointing. From there we will define the specific “patterns of dysfunction” and then we proceed to educate our client about what it means and how they might fix it. There is no disease that can begin or continue to exist without at least one of the basic homeostatic control mechanisms being out of whack. As a wellness educator will we be finding and treating disease with this process? Absolutely not. What we will be doing is identifying physiological patterns of biological/chemical/electrical dysfunction and educating the client on how to correct the imbalance. A nice side benefit of this process is if they have a currently diagnosed “disease” it may very well dissipate as a result. If our client had idiot lights on their tummy that could tell them they are low on water, they have an electrolyte overload or their cells are not breathing, they could govern themselves accordingly. But as you know those lights don’t exist. But the technology does exist that can expose those lights for our clients. We have this technology. Just like a mechanic has a machine that the consumer can visit and have their car plugged in so it can be appropriately fixed, we have biological tools and understanding where we can plug in the client’s numbers and help them fix themselves. |
Data gathering formThe data gathering form is one of the tools we use to gather the data. A simple glance at the data very quickly reveals the most important areas which need to be addressed. It is also an interactive tool we use with our clients to illustrate the core homeostatic control mechanisms that in turn regulate and control their wellbeing….
In the Imbalance detail pages (Electrolyte Balance, Cell Membrane Physiology, Energy Production, Autonomic Nervous System and Dynamic pH Balance) we will look more closely at each metabolic control system and what happens when they go out of balance. The relevant section of the data sheet that reflects these numbers will also be displayed on these pages. Data Gathering Form |
